Wendy has extensive experience in executive level financial management and system development, having worked in various industries, both not for profit and commercial for over two decades. Prior to establishing People Network Australia, Wendy spent 8 years as the Finance Manager for a medium sized not for profit disability service provider where she was responsible for the financial management and administrative functions for the organisation.
Wendy also held a pivotal role in transitioning organisational financial systems, functions, growth and scalability during the rollout of the NDIS. Wendy has also supported significant organisational change management processes, including mergers and amalgamations.
Wendy is an expert on the NDIS funding and pricing structure and understands how to maximise the outcomes of participants plans, whilst working within the NDIS guidelines. When not keeping busy with managing financial or operational issues, Wendy enjoys being a foodie, walking and enjoying time with her family, especially with her beautiful daughter Ruby.
Rachael has over 15 years’ experience in the Disability Sector, holding positions at all organisational levels from direct services to senior management, including three years as a Chief Executive Officer.
Rachael has extensive practice experience, particularly in delivering individualised customer centric services. Rachael has experience successfully leading organisational growth and change, with key achievements including successfully transitioning service systems into the NDIS model, managing exponential growth and driving strategic outcomes, including organisational mergers and amalgamations.
Rachael is a passionate advocate for human rights, social justice and equality. With lived experience of Disability, Rachael understands the fundamental importance of a high quality, responsive, customer centric service system to people with disabilities and their families.
Rachael lives with her family on a small farm, enjoying her weekends outdoors playing with her horses.
Donald has over 27 years of working in the disability sector, over this time Donald has worked in a variety of positions across different organisations including, direct services, receptionist, and financial administration. Not only does Donald have extensive experience in the sector, but he is also an extreme excel wizard! Donald has used his unique and talented skills to create many fancy spreadsheets to assist his colleagues to track and collate large volumes of information, including various templates to quote NDIS related services.
Donald is also the man behind the Inclusive Arts Network (IAN) an inclusive web-based platform. The mission of IAN is to connect arts and culturally based programs to people with disabilities and enable artists of all abilities to promote their work. IAN also aims to encourage and nurture greater communication and connections within the arts community and the disability sector. To date, IAN has connected Artists from across the globe and been responsible for the organisation of exhibitions, including the highly successful IAN ART Exhibition 2022 which included an online and face to face format.
With lived experience of disability, Donald brings a wealth of knowledge and grass roots perspective to his role of NDIS client services team member.
